How?
Deca helps the community in many ways. One of these major ways is community service projects. By doing these projects, you improve the community not only for you but also for everyone else.
Another way that deca helps students is by giving them hands-on Experience in a business marketing atmosphere. Many schools have opened school stores, where they sell food products and school spirited items such as T-shirts, blankets, and other novelties. By giving the students the opportunity to work, they gain confidence in real life situations. Working with cash registers and taking orders are all skills you will need to help your future in the working world.
